There a couple things to consider when screening affordable web design businesses for your project. Some of these questions might help you out.
How much is the total cost? Don’t just ask about the monthly payments. Ask if there is a setup fee, or better yet, a cancellation fee. Does that mean there is a contract? Hosting is an issue too. How much will it cost for you to keep your website live every month? And don’t forget about updates. Once your site is ready to go, what happens when you need updates? How much does that cost? Is it billed by the hour? Do they offer retainer services. All of these are important questions to ask to figure out the total cost of your website.
But before you even do any of that, here’s a big one – “Can I see some of the websites you’ve designed for other customers?” Before you even get into the cost, make sure your web designer is actually capable of doing what you need. I hope that helps!
